Welcome to the space dedicated to the diffusion of Romanesque Art!

Here you will find exclusive digital photographs and information about the most important Romanesque monuments in Aragon, especially the most outstanding ones: Jaca Cathedral, the famous Loarre Castle or the Monastery of San Juán de la Peña, among others

As well as Loarre, you will also find information about the most important castles from 11th to 13th centuries

In addition to monuments in Aragon, a good number of Romanesque monuments in other regions can be visited here or you can link to other web pages belonging to friends and visit them that way.

Abundant information about religious monuments from 11th to 12th centuries in Aragon can be accessed by scrolling down the alphabetical list of monuments at the top of the page or using the Interactive map of Aragon. Much of the information is gathered from the works of many author friends such as José Luis Aramendía or Cayetano Enríquez de Salamanca.

At the top of the page you can also access information about Romanesque art in many other provinces in Spain where the influence of Cluny left its unmistakable mark
