-THE ROMANESQUE CASTLE OF LOARRE : WINDOWS TO OUR PAST- |
|
DIRECTORY OF THE VISIT |
|
|
The Castle of Loarre was
already in the mountain range when your not even an intention to be; and it will follow challenging the time when
again your and I we have become blurred in the kingdom of the ideas.
From its watchtower, it has seen pass unfaithful, preservative, reformers, political cultures, civilizations, battles, truces, loves, unbelieving things, conservatives, politics, tourists...
To all it it has resisted, and there it waits for, patient to us, to that in a calm day we let ourselves take by its spell, and from the withdrawal within its churches, or dispersing the glance on the Sotonera, we perceive in our interior the subtle vibrations of its old inhabitants.
I recommend earnestly the visit to you "outside holiday season", in calmness; when as soon as there is nobody tangible one to your around. You will appreciate its art, even though you do not understand it, and perceive It.
And like cry from era MCXXIIII the voice of servant TVLGAS turned stone in seventh right ashlar of the fore door: "You requests the Father to give it eternal life"

If it desires to you to accompany to me in a visual route, ahead:
You select the place which you want to visit in the drop-down one of the beginning of this page and presses the button "VER".
The visit to the castle is inverse to the constructive chronology of the same one. We will accede through the most recent structures, until arriving at oldest from the enclosure lombardo of Sancho III "el Grande" of Navarra.
I do not try to draft a technical or academic document on the matter. Audacity would be one as for me.
The intention is to emphasize the visual aspects that have been to me pleasing and interesting, and to add to appointments and commentaries of authorities in the matter, to obtain a useful photographic guide for its visit and that in addition animates to deepen in the subject.
